The domaine Ponsot was founded in 1872 by the Ponsot family in Morey-Saint-Denis. Most of its holdings are in grand cru and premier cru vineyards, and Ponsot makes wines from such famous vineyards as Clos de la Roche, Clos de Vougeot and Corton.
Chambertin- Grand Cru in detail :
It is one of the nine grands crus of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin. The vineyard, which occupies the best part of the hillside up to an altitude of 300 m, gives a powerful, structured wine with great aging capacity.
